Vaginal

Vaginal cancer occurs in the vagina's tissues, also called the birth canal. The vagina is a 3-to4-inch tube that connects the cervix (the womb or uterus opening) and vulva (the skin folds around the opening to the vagina). Vaginal cancer is rare. Symptoms include discharge and vaginal bleeding, and sexual discomfort. The vast majority of women living with this condition are over 40 years old, and almost half are over 70 years old. Our gynecological oncologists are trained and experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of all stages of the disease at "Cure my Cancer" treatment centres. As part of the diagnostic process, you must undergo a biopsy which can also include a CT scan and/or an MRI. Our cancer specialists will then create a personalized treatment plan that is customized to your needs, desires and priorities and will help you make informed decisions about your care.
