Non-Hodgkin lymphoma

Non-Hodgkin-lymphoma

The most common form of blood cancer, or liquid cancer, is Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. In the bloodstream or lymph system, the disease forms a network of vessels, nodes, and organs which carry immune cells throughout the body. The condition is similar to Hodgkin lymphoma and leukemia in some respects, but in important ways these cancers also vary. Most forms of non-Hodgkin lymphoma develop when immune cells mutate or get damaged and start growing out of control, overlapping healthy immune cells. Within lymph nodes, spleen, and other organs, these cells may also develop tumours. Given the complexity and the serious nature of this disease, it is vital to work with an experienced team of cancer doctors and qualified practitioners to identify the specific type of cancer in each patient and to create a treatment plan tailored to the individual needs involved. Our surgical oncologists, hematologists-oncologists and other specialists at Cure My Cancer have years of experience in providing standard care and effective cancer treatments for non-Hodgkin lymphoma patients. Our full-person care model is also designed to support patients throughout the entire recovery process, delivering supportive care services to help them manage side effects and improve the quality of life.
