Cancer of the head and of the neck is a complicated disease. We are here to assist. Most of those cancers are squamous cell carcinomas, or cancers that start in the mouth, nose, and throat lining. Tobacco use is associated with 85 percent of head and neck cancers, and 75 percent are associated with a combination of tobacco use and alcohol use.
